Kari Velusamy, PT, MTC, CFMM

Manual Physical Therapist
Kari has been a Physical Therapist for over 20 years and prior to opening his clinic, he worked for Hayes Green Beach Hospital in Charlotte, MI for 5 years and Sparrow Hospital in Lansing for 10 years. Kari specializes in Manual Therapy and has Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) from St Augustine University in FL and is Certified in Functional Manual Medicine (CFMM) from Michigan State University. Kari has great experience and treats all musculoskeletal problems of all ages with manual therapy and has had great outcomes with headache, neck and back pain. He believes and specializes in finding and treating the root cause of the problem rather than treating the symptoms only. Kari has lived in Haslett for the past 17 years and enjoys spending time with his family and playing basketball with his kids.

Elena Athans, PT, DPT

Doctor of physical therapy

Elena has been a dedicated physical therapist since 2018, providing patient-centered care to empower individuals in managing pain and improving function. She emphasizes a collaborative therapist-patient approach to ensure patients feel confident and supported both during and between sessions. Elena holds a BA in Kinesiology from Michigan State University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Michigan - Flint. Her practice integrates diverse techniques, including but not limited to muscle energy, joint and soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, instrument assisted soft tissue massage (IASTM), cupping, and dry needling with an integrative neurogenic approach (IDN). She values the body's adaptability and encourages functional training to promote greater strength and quality of life at all ages.

Outside the clinic, Elena enjoys life with her husband, Tim, and their three children. They love outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and exploring new places with their energetic large dog. Elena's personal interests include running, jigsaw puzzles, nutrition, and learning about emotional well-being.


Parthasarathy E. Kumaraswamy (Sarathy) PT, DScPT, OCS, COMT, FAAOMPT

Manual Physical Therapist
Dr. Parthasarathy Eappakkam Kumaraswamy PT, graduated with a Master's degree, specializing in advanced Physical Therapy in Orthopedics in 2007, (after Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy in 1998) from The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G. R Medical University, India. In 2018 he began pursuing his career in Orthopedic Manual therapy by joining Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy at Andrews University, Michigan, USA. He was recognized as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists in 2018. He became a Certified Manual Physical Therapist in 2018 and a Certified Orthopedic Manipulative Therapist in 2020 by the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). He graduated from the NAIOMT Fellowship in 2021. He graduated with his Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy - DScPT from Andrews University, Michigan, USA in May 2024. Sarathy has been a Physical Therapist for 26 years. He has teaching experience in various colleges in India and Malaysia as a Senior Lecturer in Physical Therapy. He is passionate about teaching and imparting his knowledge to the next generation.

Sarathy has been a PT for 25 years; he uses integrated manual therapy approaches to treat chronic neuromusculoskeletal conditions. He treats patients by following a patient centered approach, always hunting for the real culprit in the whole kinetic chain, considering regional interdependence to achieve the best possible functional outcome. Sarathy enjoys swimming, reading, jogging, and spending time with his beautiful family, including his wife Sasikala and his two sons, Rithik and Vaibhav. He also enjoys watching movies and doing research in physical therapy.

Lynn Justusson

Billing Specialist
Lynn Justusson is Owner and President at Princeton Billing Service, Ltd. In Royal Oak, MI where she and other staff members provide billing and revenue management services to clients. She has been in the healthcare industry for more than 40 years and brings a vast wealth and depth of experience in billing, consulting, collections, procedures and overall operations. Lynn has established many valuable connections with representatives at most of the major insurance carriers. Lynn’s areas of expertise are numerous including physical therapy, primary care, mental health and ambulatory surgery centers. She works one-on-one with healthcare providers and their staff to maximize the efficiency of their offices. Lynn has much expertise regarding policy and coverage changes within the insurance companies and keeps her clients fully informed of the changing information.

Leah Mourey

Office Manager
Leah is newly returning to the professional field after spending the past 13 years as a home manager for an active family of five, two grey hounds, and an orange cat. Leah spends most of her free time traveling to athletic events for her three teenage children, painting, handicrafts, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family. Leah graduated from Spring Arbor University with a B.A. in Management and Organizational Development, and in her professional career, she worked primarily in social work with a focus on managing large benefit programs to provide resources, care, and assistance to individuals and families in need.

Lian Li

Receptionist

Lian graduated from East Lansing High School in 2017 and holds an Associate's degree from Lansing Community College. She works as a receptionist and technician in our office, dedicated to helping clients of all ages while focusing on understanding the root causes of their concerns.

Outside of work, Lian enjoys spending time outdoors and has a weiner dog named Lucy who loves to join her on adventures. She values the balance between work and personal life, finding joy in nature and quality time with family.
